The works in this exhibition will include paintings from an ongoing series entitled “The Little Helens”.  Begun in 1990, the initial group of paintings were all done using old family photographs, and reflected my personal experiences and recollections as a child. Over time, this series has steadily evolved to includes a broad range of narrative scenarios that now hover somewhere between fact and fiction. Each painting reflects a moment, frozen in time, which serves to help me make sense of things both large and small.
